08/07/2010. 14.30H. Acudo a la macro cárcel “La moraleja” sita en el término municipal de Dueñas (Palencia). Tengo autorizado un vis familiar con un amigo preso, Luis Carlos Marín Tapia. Cuando accedo a la primera sala, donde se instalan las taquillas y el arco detector, se está produciendo una discusión entre el familiar de un preso y los carceleros allí presentes (cuatro hombres y una mujer). El motivo de la disputa es la negativa de estos a dejarle pasar tabaco y tarjetas telefónicas. El hombre, el familiar del preso, apunta a la arbitrariedad de las normas; dependiendo quien esté a la entrada, dejan o no pasar determinados artículos. Se resiste también al cacheo. Uno de los carceleros le acompaña al tablón de anuncios para mostrarle la orden dictada por el director del centro, autorizando los registros aleatorios de las personas que visitan a los internos. Sigue la discusión mientras la carcelera registra a todas y cada una de las mujeres que están delante de mí. Cuando me llega el turno no me dejan pasar un libro que leeré en el rato que transcurre hasta la visita (media hora). Le digo a la mujer que no me cachee y me pregunta de muy malos modos que a quien voy a ver. Le respondo a la segunda, haciéndole notar que si tuvieran un poco más de educación todo marcharía mejor. Estalla en carcajadas y el hombre que estaba exigiendo sus derechos le recrimina su actitud y su mala educación. Pregunta por mi negativa a ser cacheada, le respondo que es una función que corresponde a las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del estado y que ellos no lo son, ellos son carceleros y no lo voy a permitir. Paso sin problemas por el detector y les pido que me abran la siguiente puerta que da paso a la sala de espera donde se entrega el carné. En ese momento hace su aparición un guardia civil que pretende “tranquilizar” al familiar mosqueado. Se hace el silencio y un carcelero le dice que no va a necesitar sus servicios porque el hombre parece haber entrado en razón. Esta impotencia que produce el no poder siquiera quejarse me hace decir: “bueno, esto es increíble”. Entonces y tras repetirles que me abran la puerta uno de ellos exclama: “Tu eres una broncas, te vas a quedar sin vis”. Pero me abren al fin y entrego si más problemas el DNI. Me siento a esperar. A las 15.00h, uno de ellos se me acerca y me amenaza con no dejarme pasar y efectivamente cuando todos los presentes se ponen en pie para acceder al interior me corta el paso y hace efectiva su venganza. Así se lo hago saber, venganza que ejercen con los de fuera y con los de dentro. Días más tarde me llega carta de Carlos. El jueves día 8 al preguntar porqué habían impedido el vis la respuesta fueron cuatro porrazos. El viernes día 9 le niegan la medicación y le comunican por escrito la suspensión por seis meses de los vises conmigo. Estas son de momento las “medidas” aplicadas por el centro al compañero que no ha hecho absolutamente nada, salvo pedir explicaciones por la pérdida de un vis. Pensar que lo relatado es una circunstancia excepcional es engañarse. En la cárcel madrileña de Navalcarnero, familiares de presos han denunciado que son fichados cada vez que los visitan Este fichaje consiste en foto y huella dactilar como paso previo a la visita, además del cacheo. Veinticuatro de estas muertes tuvieron lugar en cárceles, dos bajo vigilancia de la guardia civil, uno con la policía local y el otro caso es el de un menor de diecisiete años que murió meses más tarde en el Hospital Universitario de Canarias después de tirarse por la ventana de su celda. Cuando la directora de Instituciones Penitenciarias, Mercedes Gallizo, declaró en la SER, a raíz del triunfo en los Goya de la películas Celda 211, que ella ponía la mano en el fuego por la actuación de los “funcionarios de prisiones”, por su buen hacer, pedirle que no hable tan a la ligera porque se quemaría la mano y lo que pusiera.
