HOGAR GALAPAGAR: ¿QUÉ SIGUE PASANDO?
Después de la primera declaración de varios chavales tras denunciar al Centro de Menores Hogar Galapagar, y ver que los medios intentan sacar tajada de este tema recurriendo al mero espectáculo del que nos tienen acostumbrados para aumentar su audiencia, se hace preciso sacar unas primeras conclusiones de esta lucha a partir de lo que está pasando dentro de este centro en la actualidad:
Hace un par de semanas, se produjo un "motín" que terminó con la intervención de la Guardia Civil en el centro. Lxs menores rompieron una ventana, se repartieron los cristales, y atacaron a sus carcelerxs ("educadorxs" como quiere llamar el Estado), y algunxs de lxs chavales se autolesionaron. Ante estos sucesos nos preguntamos ¿cómo pretenden que no ocurran estos hechos cuando unx chaval esta encerradx 24 horas durante los mejores años de su vida?, ¿acaso cabe escandalizarse de estos actos? Sin duda, todo lo contrario, y damos un total apoyo a todos lxs chavales, estén en el Centro de Menores en el que estén, para que realicen las protestas que vean convenientes con el fin de defender y conseguir su libertad. Hace poco hemos sabido que dos chicas al parecer quedaron y siguen bastante mal tras el "motin".
Ante el juicio, las denuncias, el "motin"... los mass media se lucran hablando, conspirando y especulando acerca de la situación de lxs chavales en los centros de menores, fomentando opiniones que poco tienen que ver con el verdadero problema que suponen estas cárceles "especializadas". Crean una imagen sensacionalista ante un problema real y muy grave, como es el maltrato a niñxs(fisio y psicologico), la sobremedicación, los encierros en cuartos de aislamiento
No hay que olvidar el contraste que desde las diferentes instituciones se está dando del caso de Hogar Galapagar. El Defensor del Pueblo "descubrió cuerdas de atar en las camas y menores sobremedicados", mientras que el Defensor del Menor y desde la Comunidad de Madrid se niegan tales acusaciones o se las intenta restar importancia, llegando a afirmar que dichas correas están totalmente homologadas. Esto sólo demuestra la falta de empatía y humanidad de ciertas personas a las que encima se les llena la boca diciendo que nos representan, ¿atarles a ellxs durante noches enteras se convertiría en un hecho legítimo si es con esas correas homologadas?.
Creemos vergonzoso que se aislen chavales, que se les pegue, que se les amarre con correas, que se les sobremedique... por mucho que todo esto entre en su legalidad en el régimen penitenciario para menores (sin olvidarnos tampoco del de los adultos).
Esta mañana (29 de marzo de 2010) una ex educadora que estuvo trabajando hace 5 años para la misma empresa que lleva Hogar Galapagar, el Grupo Mental Consulting S.L., habló en Espejo Publico (programa de antena 3), confirmando las denuncias de lxs chavales, la sobremedicación, y las palizas brutales a los internos del Centro de Menores.
Mas allá de todo esto ahora lo ultimo de este centro es instalar a 2 matones en la puerta que te reciben cuando llegas preguntando por lxs chavales, y ante cualquier cosa que tu les digas ellos responden: en este momento no esta.
Nuestra rabia y nuestro odio hacia todo aquel que encierra personas, no cesará mientras sigan existiendo centros de menores, cárceles y comisarias. Consideramos a lxs educadorxs como carcelerxs, enemigxs de la libertad.
No cesaremos de protestar como sea posible mientras siga existiendo un solo centro de menores, hasta que se dejen de atar a lxs chavalxs, se les deje de dar medicacion forzosa... y hasta su total libertad.
