Comisión de Denúncia da Galiza e Esculca convocan a unha concentración nos Xulgados de Betanzos para o martes 19 de Xaneiro, cando às 10 da mañá
terá lugar o xuízo contra vários funcionários do Centro Penitenciário
de Teixeiro por malos tratos e torturas denunciados por vários
internos. Desde a CNT de Compostela, en resposta à chamada recibida
deste estas organizacións anti-represivas e que luitan polos direitos
humanos de todas as persoas, chamamos a participar nesta concentración.
Desde hai bastantes anos as denúncias por rigor desnecesário
e torturas son constantes no módulo de isolamento deste centro
penitenciário.
As primeiras de que se tivo coñecimento son do ano 1999. O 3 de
Decembro deste ano o próprio xulgado de vixiláncia penitenciária da
Coruña (Expediente 9108/99) ditou auto en que criticava a actuación dos
funcionários deste módulo e declarava non axustadas a direito as
medidas tomadas contra alguns internos: suxeición mecánica (alxemas con
grilletes) durante catro días e isolamento provisório durante cinco
días.
Estes feitos non transcenden facilmente dado que, como norma, os
presos son transladados despois de se ter producido a agresión. Nesto,
