CONDENAN A TRES AÑOS DE CÁRCEL A AMADEU CASELLAS

La Audiencia de Barcelona ha condenado al ex preso anarquista Amadeu Casellas y a su esposa a tres años de cárcel por intentar introducir heroína en un ‘vis a vis’ en la cárcel de Quatre Camins.
La sentencia declara probados los hechos, que tuvieron lugar el 6 de abril de 2008, cuando la acusada solicitó ver a su marido en un vis a vis y los Mossos d’Esquadra se dispusieron a hacer un registro superficial.
En ese momento, la mujer, “con síntomas de nerviosismo”, se desmoronó y entregó a los agentes dos papelinas de heroína que pretendía pasar a Casellas.
El juez puntualiza que la mujer entregó la heroína cuando los agentes, al ver que estaba inquieta, decidieron “hacerle unas placas en el hospital”. Yamileth B.P entregó dos envoltorios de seis y 8,9 gramos cuyo valor asciende a 944 euros.
Aunque la entrega de la droga se frustró, el juez de la sección novena de la Audiencia entiende que la compañera de Amadeu “fue convencida” por Casellas para que intentará transferirle los 14,9 gramos de droga que la mujer escondía en el interior de su cuerpo.
Casellas estuvo más de 25 años en prisión. Ingresó por primera vez en 1979 por atracar bancos, aunque también se le conoce por su faceta anarquista. Hasta hace dos meses ha estado en prisión y ha realizado tres huelgas de hambre para reclamar beneficios penitenciarios –que sus causas fueran refundidas para conseguir el tercer grado–.
En el juicio, Casellas explicó que no temía volver a la cárcel porque no entraría aunque le condenaran, ya que le “deben ocho años”. “He pagado ocho años de más, lo que me tendrían que hacer es un abono”, subrayó en declaraciones a Europa Press.
Según el ex preso, el día 2 de abril de 2009 tenía un permiso de salida y el día 8 le dijeron que no podía salir porque tenía un auto de procesamiento por un presunto delito de tráfico de drogas, “cuando esto pasó en el exterior” y él estaba “encerrado en prisión”, dijo. “Es una historia que se han sacado de la manga”, aclaró.
La sentencia condena a Casellas y a su esposa a tres años de cárcel y a pagar una multa de 2.400 euros, pese a que la fiscalía pedía ocho años de prisión, por un delito contra la salud pública en su modalidad de sustancia que causa grave daño a la salud.
