Al finalizar el año 2009, aún no hemos podido hacer un balance exacto que nos ha dejado la política de dispersión en estos 30 años. De los 746 presxs que componemos el Colectivo de Presxs Políticxs Vascxs –EPPK- (166 en el estado francés y 580 en el estado español), solamente 7 (ósea le 1%) se encuentran en cárceles del País Vasco, contrariamente a lo estipulado por la constitución española. Esto ha acarreado mucho sufrimiento, a parte de los miles de kilómetros, del coste económico, nos ha dejado 16 muertes y más de 400 heridxs (en los más de 300 accidentes de tráfico) entre nuestros familiares y amigxs.
Las condiciones carcelarias que tenemos vivir (dispersión, aislamiento, régimen disciplinario…) ha hecho que durante estos años 24 compañerxs hayan encontrado la muerte en la cárcel.
Seguiremos reivindicando una solución política a un problema estrictamente político, por medio del diálogo y la negociación, aunque los estados francés y español sigan utilizando la represión como único instrumento para hacer callar nuestras voces y nuestro derecho a elegir nuestro futuro como pueblo.
No quisiera terminar esta carta sin denunciar que estos últimos meses no hemos podido abrazar a nuestros allegadxs porque, una vez más, no aceptamos que nuestros seres queridos sean vejados, humilladxs y maltratadxs por una política puramente vengativa.
Para terminar, recordarte que aún no nos han devuelto el cuerpo sin vida de JON ANZA, expreso político secuestrado t presuntamente torturado por los “incontrolados”, que una vez más no tendían que existir en un país dícese democrático.
