Los internos se encerraron en una zona del centro negándose a salir de su
interior a pesar de la insistencia de los vigilantes de seguridad allí
destinados

Dentro de las habitaciones comenzaron a destrozar el mobiliario,
amotinándose en contra de las normas del propio centro. Al cierre de esta
edición los vigilantes de seguridad habían conseguido reducir a tres de
los menores, pero los otros dos se encerraron en una de las zonas del
centro impidiendo el acceso.
Hasta Punta Blanca acudieron gran cantidad de fuerzas policiales, tanto de
la Benemérita como de la Policía Nacional y Local al objeto de controlar
la situación, marcada por la tensión manifiesta. El motín organizado es el
producto de un clima de presión que se está registrando en el centro desde
que se hiciera pública la denuncia de CCOO por malos tratos.

Asimismo en las últimas jornadas se habían producido fugas de dos chavales
así como intentos por parte de otros, que no llegaron a llevarse a efecto.
Anteriormente se había producido la agresión a una funcionaria que
trabajaba en el centro.

Según fuentes del centro los menores querían reivindicar y hacer valer sus
derechos de ahí que decidieran orquestar un encierro dentro del centro así
como destrozar parte del mobiliario habido en su interior

proceden del interior del centro de internamiento.
22:30 Las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad abandonan el lugar. La situación
está controlada.
Madrugada Los gritos se mantienen durante toda la madrugada. Al amanecer,
un joven intenta de nuevo alentar a sus compañeros para provocar otra
